My wife and I both graduated as pharmacists in the United Kingdom. My wife obtained a full government scholarship for her tertiary education while I received a full scholarship for my pre-university course in Malaysia.
We started our first job working at a hospital but soon realised that a professional degree doesn’t guarantee a good life. We were looking for ways to make additional income until we met our uplines who introduced us to Amway.
We signed up as ABOs with an initial goal to make an additional income of RM500 monthly. We attended multiple meetings and events to learn the ropes of the business; and worked hard even though our family and friends were not very supportive in the beginning.
After spending three years building the business part time, we achieved Founders Platinum. Since then, our Amway income has exceeded the income we earned as pharmacists. We are eternally grateful to our mentors, Founders Executive Diamond Loh Foh Min & Tan Bee Ching for their guidance and for inspiring us with their financially free lifestyle.
This business has rewarded us in many ways, not just financially. We have qualified for Amway Leadership Seminars in Europe, United States, Japan, Dubai, Australia, Alaska and New Zealand - all paid for by Amway.
When the pandemic hit, we overcame the numerous challenges and uncertainties that came our way and achieved the Emerald and Diamond pins. We hold strongly to the belief that success is determined by our mindset. The fact is, successful people do not face less problems, they simply work harder to find ways to overcome challenges.
Today, we are leading a team of people from various background, including professionals, and working hard together to realise our dreams. Our goal is to help every team member to unleash their full potential to become a Diamond and beyond as we believe that success is not measured by how much money you make, but by how many lives you touch and inspire.
Our Amway business has given us the freedom to resign from our full time jobs, be full time parents to our children and regain full control of our time. Do what others won’t today, so you can do what others can’t tomorrow!
