Optional Accessories For Your Airfryer

Using an Airfryer to cook is generally known to be one of the fastest and easiest ways to prepare nutritious meals. After all, the entire process is more or less …

Step 1: Slide open the Airfryer drawer.

Step 2: Place raw ingredients inside.

Step 3: Slide the drawer shut.

Step 4: Turn the timer knob (for the Philips Airfryer (HD9723) – Desert Green) or push the button on a preset menu (for the Philips Premium Digital Airfryer HD9741).

Step 5: Repeat for next dish.

Pretty fool proof, no? Little wonder that the humble Airfryer is an increasingly popular addition to the modern kitchen, especially for those who are always on the go and constantly in need of dishes that are healthy and yet quick to prepare (not to mention easy to clean up after).

Well, what if we told you that it can be even easier to cook multiple items in one go? Here’s how using ingenious Airfryer accessories (FREE when you buy the Philips Premium Digital Airfryer HD9741 or the Philips Airfryer (HD9723) – Desert Green in September 2022 only) will help you optimise cooking space* and time in the kitchen, making it super simple to indulge your loved ones with nutritious meals, day after day.

Baking Pan

Airfryers usually come with a standard wire basket that’s great on its own but adding a little baking pan will level up your kitchen skills in a snap. You can use it to make chewy brownies, scrumptious frittatas, sophisticated sweet or savoury slices and all sorts of baked goods that would otherwise require an oven. Try our irresistible Baked Corn Cakes Recipe to start.

Quick Tip: If you’re concerned about cleaning up, don’t sweat it. Just look for a baking pan with a non-stick coating so that dripped batter and stubborn bits of overcooked food won’t stick to the surface.

Double Layer Rack

In case you haven’t noticed, Airfryers are surprisingly more spacious than they look. So, you’ve already arranged one layer of ingredients in your basket and you think you’re ready to get cooking – think again. Why not make use of all that space and add a stainless steel double layer rack on top? Easy to slip in and out, it allows you to cook another layer of food at the same time, just like that.

Quick Tip: Put your vegetables at the base and your protein, say, chicken on the top layer. The delicious juices from the meat will slowly drip down to the base and add effortless flavour to your greens.

Skewers

Who doesn’t like skewers? Stainless steel metal skewers allow you to make colourful kebabs (such as crunchy carrots, a rainbow of capsicums and pearly white onions, yum!) as well as your own satay and espetada (Portuguese skewers). It’s also a fun way to get your kids involved in the cooking process as they will love designing their own skewered creations!

Quick Tip: Do check on your skewers from time to time; turn them over halfway through the process to ensure more even cooking and to avoid burning your precious creations.

What are you waiting for? Time to get creative with your Airfryer – enjoy!

*Incidentally, both our Airfryers have a generous capacity of 0.8kg, so the more you cook, the more people you can feed, right? Bon appetit!

Note: The above accessories are not included with our Philips Airfryers. These are optional accessories which can be purchased from Philips Malaysia.
