Chicken Rendang

Ingredients:

  • 3 tbsp chili paste 
  • 1 tbsp turmeric powder
  • 1 ½ cups thick coconut milk
  • 1 cup kerisik (fried coconut)
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • <1 tbsp Plant To Table by Nutrilite White Chia Seed Oil
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Turmeric leaves (finely chopped for garnishing) 
  • 1kg chicken, cubed
  • 2 onions

Blended ingredients:

  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1-inch ginger
  • ½ inch galangal
  • ½ inch fresh turmeric
  • 3 stalks lemongrass 
  • 10 chili padi
  • 2 pieces turmeric leaves

Other ingredients:

  • 3 tbsp Nutrilite Soy Protein Drink

Method:

  1. Add all ingredients into the inner pot of the Noxxa Low Sugar Rice Cooker and mix well, then close the lid.
  2. Select SLOW COOK and adjust the time to 3 hours (03:00). Press START. 
  3. When the time is up, press KEEP WARM|CANCEL.
  4. Open the lid and start the STIR FRY function.
  5. Add in the Nutrilite Soy Protein Drink and stir occasionally until the liquid is almost dried up. Serve with low sugar white rice.
